You know, like a V-8 is like two straight 4 in a common crankshaft candidate?

A V-16 is like two V-8, connected by a common crankshaft.

However, using a tight angle Bugatti V-8 with a single head on both sides of the V. If you are familiar with the VR-6 engine from Volkswagen? The angle between the banks is only 15 degrees, and it is technically a V-6, although only a head. This makes an engine a narrow short.

It's the same idea, except that with the idea of an RV-8 and interconnected.

Volkswagen also has a W-12 of two VR-6 engine, and you can buy it in the Passat (and could, at least) one.

It's like a V8 engine with another engine V8. They share the same wheel
